Music is what makes the world go around. I think it's the most popular entertainment out there wouldn't you say? I mean, who doesn't like music? There's a type of music for everyone somewhere. I personally like rock. My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, because their lyrics are really deep, but they don't seem to be when you first hear them.
Without music, a lot more people would be depressed, which would lead to more suicides. The world would eventually come to an end, either that or just be left with rich spoiled kids.
The lyrics to some songs that you hear make you realize that there ARE other people that have the same problems as you. When you realize that, you feel better because you know that you're not weird, and there isn't anything wrong with you. Thousands of other people out there are going through the same thing as you.

Music???????!!!!!!!!!?
i've recorded my songs in my cell %26amp; got them transferred to my pc.. now i want to add background music to my songs. pls tell me how can i do it? how do i add happening music to my songs?

do you have software to do that with? and you may have to redo them even if you have software, it may not take add-ons from other applications... but if you have the right software then it is just a matter of time. but you also need to know what you're looking for. programs like Finale are great but work soley on the contruction aspect of things. so you can WRITE the music and have the score and words, you can even listen to computer generated versions of different instruments and have them play your song once you've written the piece. But it will not have the voice part you will have to sing it live, and I can't garuantee that you could burn a cd of it or anything. But I do know Finale is a great tool to help you figure out what you wanna do with a song and then to actually create the music. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The worship band that I'm really partial to is Third Day and Casting Crowns, who both have songs that minister straight to your heart as well as ROCKIN' songs, too.
As far as pop music goes, I would recommend Collective Soul's first and second records, Hootie %26amp; the Blowfish, the Wallflowers--any feelgood music you can find.
Reply:Usually the classic rock (especially early-to-mid 1970s) is good... bands like Free ("All Right Now") or Deep Purple ("Smoke on the Water") or Lynyrd Skynyrd ("Sweet Home Alabama", "Free Bird"). Your parents would be experts about that, because odds are they were alive at that point. This sort of "good" music died about 1979, though every so often you'll hear a song (Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" or "Any Way You Want It" - both from the 80s) after this point that fits your description of good music.
Styx is also really good... their harder songs "Miss America" and "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)" and "Renegade" fit the bill you established.

Music can lead you to be evil. Many bands have awful messages and lyrics. ACDC's guitarist, one of them, said that when he gets on stage and plays, it's not actualyl him who plays. Satan was good at music (he had many pipes) so maybe he still influences music heavily. Idk. THose are just my thoughts.

So don't discriminates anything only by it's cover, Rock music is not bad even thou most of Rock band is not so good (in moral, etc.). But, you still should filter your music, because not all songs are made with good purpose...

1)What's the message in the lyrics?
2)If played backwards, fast, slow, or any other way, would it have a bad message?
(Many people don't believe that. But take the song "stay fly" by 3/6 mafia and play it slow during the chorus part...it's praising the devil...you can also play an ozzy osbourne song backwards -- not sure which one -- and it also has a message in there)
3)Is this song good in God's eyes?
These are just a few things to consider. If you honestly don't care, then I just urge you to take a good look at #2 and check out that song I mentioned....I heard it played slowly, it gave me goosebumps...I will never listen to that band. They even admitted to be devil worshippers, so anyone who doesn't believe they are, are just playing themselves.

As a Christian, I have a responsibility to present an acceptable witness. That doesn't include bangin' bass %26amp; "garden tools, dogs, unlawful substances, %26amp; overindulgences..."

for me: i dont have a particular favorite song, rock,70's/80's, Daughtry/Wild Cherry/Nickleback/Green Day(at the moment), i-Pod.....

Cant choose a favorite. I like rock/pop/some rap. Favortie decade: the 80's (awsome music). I have a lot of favorite artist but for now its Jordin Sparks, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Hellogoodbye, Avril Laviagne, J Holiday, New Found Glory, Timbaland, Pink, Fantasia.........., I have an Mp3 player, never had an Ipod so I cant choose.
