you have great taste in music! awesome! i see that you are into progressive rock. trust me, you will love Porcupine Tree. they are a prog/alternative/metal mix. really great stuff. try these songs "arriving somewhere ... but not here", "blackest eyes", "hatesong", "shesmovedon", "waiting phase 1".

edit_ they are a british band from england

Reply:fergie,all american rejects,hinder,black eyed peas,carrie underwood,kellie pickler,and taylor hicks
Reply:try some linkin park or lynard skinard
Reply:Evanescence.
Reply:I think that's a good lineup of bands right there, but I've got some more to tack on there.

Red Hot Chili Peppers (they have some different styles, ex. difference between "Otherside" and "My Friends")

Eric Johnson

Carlos Santana

Steve Miller (Band)

The Rolling Stones

Ramones (R.I.P. CBGB)

Led Zeppelin (the softer stuff they did like "All of My Love")
Reply:i doubt you're into R%26amp;B and hip hop but that's just my theory in general. Most dance clubs only play r%26amp;b, hip hop, pop and dance/trance. All the music these people gave you are Alternative/rock/medal etc.

I listen mostly to R%26amp;b and hip hop but some people in the states think it;s crap music so it;s up to you.
Reply:I like Brian Eno, Emerson Lake %26amp; Palmer, King Crimson and Neil Young.
Reply:If you like DT, %26amp; PF, try:

Rush and Yes (both bands a BIG influence on Dream Theater)
Reply:If you want all kinds of music then i would suggest

Loreena McKennitt

Josh Groban

Jack Johnson

that's something quite a bit different
Reply:Try some underground hip hop like Atmosphere or Sage Francis!

Music?????

Music?????
1950's Rock and Pop

1960's Pop , Motown, Doo-Wop, Rock

1970's Rock %26amp; Pop

1980's (some of it)

I HATE everything from 1990's to today. Today's music sounds like crap compared to the music made 30 - 50 years ago. Singers today have no f.u.c.k.ing talent at all.

Today, it's all about looks. Not talent. People like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are only famous for being famous.

Music.............?

just somehow it makes life seem so much less complicated

and just easier to flow through

it can make u cry, laugh, and feel a certain way....

it too woderful.......

how would u describe music?

who made music????

Music.............?
Music is what makes the world go around. I think it's the most popular entertainment out there wouldn't you say? I mean, who doesn't like music? There's a type of music for everyone somewhere. I personally like rock. My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, because their lyrics are really deep, but they don't seem to be when you first hear them.

Without music, a lot more people would be depressed, which would lead to more suicides. The world would eventually come to an end, either that or just be left with rich spoiled kids.

The lyrics to some songs that you hear make you realize that there ARE other people that have the same problems as you. When you realize that, you feel better because you know that you're not weird, and there isn't anything wrong with you. Thousands of other people out there are going through the same thing as you.
Reply:a teacher, a parent, a friend-that's what music is to me.

i say God definitely loves us-he made music...
Reply:its amazing. could make you laugh when you are crying, feel good when you are down, etc.

the word is full of natural music and it probably started imitating it and it has evolved... no clue.
Reply:music, i like it. britney spears is my favourite singer .not only because of her sexy body, but also her song style.
Reply:its a mesh of what you want to hear and what you need to hear.

Music???????!!!!!!!!!?

i've recorded my songs in my cell %26amp; got them transferred to my pc.. now i want to add background music to my songs. pls tell me how can i do it? how do i add happening music to my songs?

Music???????!!!!!!!!!?
do you have software to do that with? and you may have to redo them even if you have software, it may not take add-ons from other applications... but if you have the right software then it is just a matter of time. but you also need to know what you're looking for. programs like Finale are great but work soley on the contruction aspect of things. so you can WRITE the music and have the score and words, you can even listen to computer generated versions of different instruments and have them play your song once you've written the piece. But it will not have the voice part you will have to sing it live, and I can't garuantee that you could burn a cd of it or anything. But I do know Finale is a great tool to help you figure out what you wanna do with a song and then to actually create the music. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Reply:Hey ,

I had searched every possible thing to add background music to my songs, but there is no site or software which offers this facility.

So do the same what i did. Contact some musicians like me and enhance your songs. Just a Synthesizer will do.
Reply:you can check this website and you can record a song with background music and a music video of your own...www.singshot.com hope you'll enjoy it. if you have xtra time you can answer my question too. thank you!!i really need help..
